We cherish an environment with diversity and respect, where everyone can be free from discrimination.

We are open to diversity and we repudiate sexist, sexist, LGBTphobic, racist and xenophobic behaviors.

In this month of June, it is common to see many posts and changes of company logos on social media due to the month of Pride LGBTQIA+, but not everyone knows why this month is so special.

Therefore, we will make a brief summary of its history.

The month of June is internationally known for the demonstrations that took place in the United States.

The internationally known "Stonewall Rebellion", which took place on the morning of June 28, 1969, in the United States, was a result of a series of spontaneous demonstrations by the LGBT community against the violent invasion of the New York police at the Stonewall Inn bar, located in the neighborhood of Greenwich Village.

These riots were a milestone for the community and made possible the creation of the first movements fighting for freedom and community rights.

In Brazil, the São Paulo LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade has been held annually on Avenida Paulista since 1997.

In 2006, it was recognized as the largest LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade in the world by Guinness World Records.

Reviewing prejudices and raising guidelines and actions on Diversity and Inclusion are more than urgent and need to move forward.

We believe that the promotion of adequate public policies and external and internal actions by companies, in addition to raising awareness that all people deserve respect, is for now!

Brazil is one of the most hostile countries to LGBTQIA+ people, work for many of them is the safest refuge.

With that in mind, GoBots launched an anonymous internal survey to measure the number of employees belonging to the LGBTQIA+ group and what actions the company could take to improve the work environment for this group, with the aim of making the company's environment more inclusive for these people. people.

In addition, we are promoting internal dialogues, we invited a Psychologist from the LGBT Reference Center of the City of Campinas, to speak, bringing her experience and talking about public policies aimed at the group.

Since, ignorance of the trajectory of LGBTQIA+ people is a barrier that prevents overcoming prejudice.

In this sense, we are also proposing a conversation around the topic with everyone, bringing cartoons, poems and videos that enrich the discussion.

In this way, we bring people closer to the diverse narrative with the protagonism of LGBTQIA+ people, powerful to undo prejudices.

Knowing more about the history of the LGBTQIA+ movement allows us to fight and contribute to a better society with respect for diversity.
